Good bye 2008

Ok now, I know that I'm a bit late to bid 2008 adieu, but then I always think it's better late than never :)

So 2008 had been a memorable year for me. I laughed, I cried. I had been on a bed rest and I had studied a lot. I traveled Southern India and I traveled to the North! I think both, the best and the worst days that I had in my life were the maximum experienced in 2008! But all in all I had a good year.

8 most memorable days of 2008

1. January 22nd-that day I started for Kerala
2. January 30th-I bought my brand new, black, Kinetic Fltye
2. February 24th-won't tell why
3. April 14th-I met my friends after a long time and had a great fun
4. June 20th-that was my birthday and it was one of the best birthdays I ever had
5. September 3rd-Ganesh Utsav started and for the very first time we brought Him home
6. August 22nd-it was my mom's birthday and we had a family get-together that day
8. December 24th-I saw the best Sun rise of my life

8 worse days of 2008

1. February 2nd-the day I fell ill
2. February 14th-I was admitted to the hospital
3. February 15th-I missed my farewell, as I was in the hospital
4. March 1st- I missed my final year exams, being on bed rest
5. August 28th-won't tell why
6. September 13th
7. November 26th-Mumbai blasts, I've n no. of relatives and friends there, I was breathless till the time I reached up everyone and discovered that they were ok
8. None. (Thank God there were only 7 bad days I had in 2008)

6. Yuvraj- A.R.Rehman and Gulzar
7. Dostana- Loved Khabar nahi the most
8. Rab ne bana di Jodi- had no other option! :P

8 things I tired

I tired 2 new hairstlyes
1. Step cut
2. Step layer cut
the second one suited me more
3. I tired wearing kajal in my eyes and it worked
4. Changed my genre of writing from Romantic
5. Tired a bit of Photography-I shot around 650 shots in 5 days!
6. I cooked different forms, Indian-Punjabi, Indian-Maharashtrian, South Indian, Italian, Chineese
7. I watched the 8:45 movie show in the morning and believe me it was great fun :D
8. I had three different types of coffees apart from the regular one, namely, Moccochino, Cafe Late and Black coffee without sugar (espresso). Of all I love black coffee without sugar the most. [of course I liked the others too ;)]

8 unfulfilled wishes of 2008

1. I couldn't learn dance
2. I didn't find time to learn salsa
3. I didn't see the snow fall
4. I couldn't record a video of me singing and playing guitar (I need to prctice more in singing)
5. Couldn't finish reading "Many Lives Many Masters" (lack of time!)
6. Was not a regular blogger
7. Couldn't complete graduation (if only I were not ill during the exams I would have been a graduate today)
8. Meet school friends

8 things I wish to do in comming years

1. Learn a dance form
2. Explore more photography
3. Explore more in music
4. Explore more in Litreture
5. Study more
6. Write more stories and Poems
7. Blog more (I wish to post ATLEAST 9 posts by the end of the next year on Last page of the Notebook)
8. Read more and more good books

all in all I thank 2008 for showing all the ups and downs of my life and wish to have a wonderful 2009. So am all set for the new year.
